Description

Peer Exercise Program Promotes Independence (P.E.P.P.I.) is a physical activity program that is designed especially for older adults.  It is safe for most people. Stretching, strength training, and balance exercises are all part of the workout. It is appropriate for inactive older adults, beginners, intermediates, and those with chronic diseases or conditions. Physical activity helps reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases, aids in management of chronic disease, and improves ability to stay independent.
